Final Note on Toxicity
From DivorceSupportGroupsBlog.com
"This is the time in which you would really benefit from a lot of empathy, love, and compassion not shame or judgment. Foster love and compassion for yourself and request it from your community of support. Ask your friends and family what they love about you. Doing so will accelerate your recovery. Also, keep a daily journal of three things you are grateful for in your life and three things you appreciate about yourself every day. This will aid you in avoiding the negative internal dialog at the same time that it empowers you to succeed. If releasing emotional toxicity by yourself gets tough, join a divorce support group and get the emotional support you deserve. Doing so is one of the best actions you can take towards recovery."
