Above the Clouds

I've always found it facinating that no matter how cloudy, gray, and deary it is in Portland when I get on an airplane for another destination, that once we're above the clouds, how sunny, bright, and energizing the world seems.

It facinates me that the sun is always shining out there somewhere, even when my world seems cold and dark.

Going through divorce can be a cold, gray and dreary experience. But when life is at it's darkest, remember that the Lord's miracles are always there to support, guide, comfort, and cheer us--just like the constant presence of the sun above the clouds. Do we see the light? Or do we allow the clouds of life to obscure our view?

Just knowing that the sun is shining somewhere is enough. We may not always see that He is there, but He is. And it won't be long until you can see His presence. Just keep moving forward and "go towards the light!"
